Akshay Ruparelia is famed as the founder and ex-CEO of Doorsteps.co.uk (till 2021), a company dedicated to selling houses without the substantial prices normally charged by estate agents. Akshay sat at the helm of the third largest online agency in the UK that has sold over £1 billion in houses over the space of three years, marking him youngest on the Sunday Times Rich List 2018 on asset value.
Most recently, in 2021, he was the youngest honoree, featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list and he has also become renowned for disrupting the market with a 500% growth in just four years. Having started from nothing, Akshay had proven his prowess as a businessman, expanding his empire from 0 to now over 60 team members on an international scale, including raising millions in equity funding along the way.
By 2021, at 22 years old, he expressed his passion for supporting disadvantaged people by sitting on the board of The Prince’s Trust RISE Board, working with Royal Association for Deaf People and starting his own social enterprise – AKR Growth – delivering on government contracts to support unemployed people into work – including RESTART and Kickstart AKRGROWTH.COM.
Pursuing his relentless journey of learning, Akshay is the CEO and co-founder of Impact3.io a blockchain-based enterprise dedicated to utilizing web3 as a medium to creating mass collaboration for positive impact – with a roadmap to create a venture fund, digital private members’ club and a $20million philanthropy fund.
